The door to the butler's pantry swung open and a man wearing a red vest and a bow tie appeared in the light and smiled down at Joe. Pressing past him, the man began to rummage through the bottles on the upper shelves. He chose one and held it up to the light. Then he pushed the cork out, took a long drink, and set it down on the counter. "Good gin, huh?" Joe asked. The man laughed. "No no man, that is the grape juice." The man had an accent like the gardener. He picked out another bottle and left.

Joe knew that the bottle did not contain grape juice, exactly, though he felt himself to be in a state of plausible deniability about this. He remembered how he had seen his cousins setting off fireworks by the creek during a family reunion. He imagined how, at the next family reunion, he would take these cousins down to the same creek, where he would have a pantry prepared. The gardener would bring them thin-stemmed glasses full of gin with olives in them, and they would shoot pistols at paper cut-outs of Lyndon Johnson while their parents played badminton or napped in sagging, sun-bleached chairs.

The first sip was sour but afterward made his tongue and throat feel tingly and thick. It was true: there was something grapey about this drink. He took another sip. His stomach warmed. For the first time in his life, Joe felt a sensual desire for meat. Well maybe he did think it was grape juice, after all. He took a long, long drink, until the bottle was empty, and then he thought of a clever thing to do.

The first person to see him was Mrs. Parsons. "Little Joe!" she said in a pressing whisper, "Is that pizza for us?" Joe tottered and smiled broadly. Mrs. Parsons didn't seem to notice the purple stains on his teeth. "Let me see," she said and lifted the cardboard lid with a green fingernail. Inside were six Girl Scout cookies and half a loaf of Wonderbread. Mrs. Parsons covered her mouth and laughed hissingly. "Pete," she said, "Psssst! Pete! Come and look at what Little Joe has brought us!" Mr. Stern walked over and put his arm around Mrs. Parsons's waist. "Hey there Joe!" he said, giving Little Joe a faint little joke-punch to the gut. This was Mr. Stern's way of reminding people that he had been a champion boxer in the army. Joe dropped the pizza box and doubled over; a stream purple liquid spurted from his mouth. Mr. Stern looked over his shoulder. "OK, Little Joe. Time to lay down if you're not feeling well."

Mrs. Parson led Joe back to the kitchen and pushed him up the stairs like a newborn head of cattle.

On the back porch it was one of those nights when you ask yourself: Why do I bother with these vacations? What is there to the Ozarks, or Florida, or a cruise ship that isn't already right here, in these great backyards? Just look at the swimming pool, steaming and bubbling like a shady green lagoon, and I didn't have to schlep through acres of tsetse swamp to find it either. These could be coconut halves we're drinking from, the smoke of exotic herb roots pluming from the butts of our Chestertons. How much do coconuts cost anyway? Something tells me not much. We just need to learn how to enjoy it, that's all....

Gazing off into the hydrangeas, Marty felt like a leopard. "Sarah!" he shouted, "a Brindisi! Libiamo ne'lieti calici!"

In a few moments the back door had been propped open and the hifi rolled through with Sarah pushing from behind. Marty had been a music major before law school, and he still enjoyed a good tune after he'd had the correct number of whiskies and felt like he'd just shouted the world an order: "At ease!" For ten years he'd sung just two songs. The first, Oh Sacred Head, Now Wounded, was for family holidays, when the children, hoarding their little toys in their little strongholds of snot and gift paper, inspired in Marty's heart a combination of schoolgirl envy and animal rage: these children are spoiled little ingrates, he would think, with no history of physical suffering or European culture. The second song was Libiamo ne'lieti calici, because it was a reveler's song, and Marty, at heart, was a reveler. A Bacchus. A wine women and song for tomorrow we die type of fellow. In college they'd called him "Guts."

The performance had gone well enough until the end, when, on that last high note, Marty's voice just stopped. It was like watching a violinist who, somehow, lost all his violin strings between parts. Air continued to seep from Marty's lungs, his lower lip continued to quiver, his eyes continued to shine with drunken elan, but no sound came out. At first the audience laughed, thinking it was a joke, or hoping it would seem to Marty that they thought it was a joke, but they grew silent when Marty refused to be infected by their good humor. "Sarah! Put it back on! I don't know what the hell happened! Must have been the devil or something!"

But the second attempt yielded the same result as the first, and this time nobody tried to crow it off. Marty glowered at the hifi. "Dammit!" he shouted, "God dammit! I'll do it without the damn record then! I've only been singing the thing for thirty odd years, right?" He cast his eyes warmly at his audience, hoping to be met by a scene of broad affection. What he found instead was pity. Pity and mild--almost patronizing--fear. Joe had given him the same look when he'd caught him vomiting into the aquarium on Thanksgiving. "My God," Marty snarled, "you people, you alcoholic, lush-humping bastards! Get out, you bastards, get your tag asses out of my lagoon right now!" At this he pushed the hifi into the pool and, to signify that the party had truly ended, threw a fifty-dollar bill at the bartender. "Somebody better call the police," he said, "because if everybody isn't out in five minutes there is going to be a new criminal in Shady Lap."

This too had happened before. Once someone had even called the police, two years back, when Jack Affers had refused to come down from the roof and Marty had gone in search of his rifle. And so it was in an orderly fashion that the guests were collecting their things--and whispering plans to go the Radovic's for crab cakes or the Dowls for a moonlight dip "au naturale"--when Marty spied Pete Stern doing something suspicious to the carpet. Marty moved quickly. "Hi Pete! What are you doing to my carpet?" Pete spun his head around. "Hi Marty, well there's--." Marty cut him off: "I see what you're doing. You've puked on my carpet, and now you're trying to clean it up, you fucking lush-humper." Pete stood up. "Now Marty. As a matter of fact it was Little Joe down here--." Marty cut him off again: "Little Joe is ten years old, Pete. Little Joe does not puke red wine onto his father's carpets like some lush-humping mick." Marty looked from Pete to Mrs. Parsons. As he did this, Pete punched Marty in the stomach. Marty fell to the ground, pulling over a lamp as he struggled to keep his balance. Pete gathered his things, including Mrs. Parsons, and exited through the garage. From his place on the floor Marty waved away the remaining guests, who had rushed to his aid. "I'm fine, I'm fine," he said, "Now get the hell out!"

When the house had emptied Sarah brought Marty an aspirin and a glass of RCOPLB. Marty graciously accepted these offerings and said he'd meet her upstairs. Then Marty thought about Pete. The worst part of it all was how Pete had tried to pin the whole business on Little Joe. But after all what wouldn't Pete say to cover his ass, the skirt-chasing thug dentist. Marty thought of the hifi at the bottom of the pool. For some reason, it reminded him of a dead mermaid. Stumbling to his feet, he finished his RCOPLB and wearily mounted the back stairs. On his way down the hall he stopped outside Little Joe's door. Turning to face it, as if he had planned to enter, he solemnly made the sign of the cross, the way a priest does over his congregation. "I love you, I love you, I love you," Marty whispered.

I admit I'm beginning to like the Feeling. I don't love the Feeling, like it says I do in the Info Guide, but in any case I can feel my attitude changing. Developing. I check my goatee for smears in the rear view mirror of the Vehicle and rehearse my lines: "Whhoooooo's ready to fun something?!" It sounds great out there in the Vehicle, but inside it doesn't quite come off. The Primary is an alarmingly thin ten year-old boy with sock pocks all up and down his arms. When I say "Whhooooo's ready to fun something?!" he just looks up at his mother and coughs. His mother is grinning and looking straight ahead, like the Info Guide tells her to. A long silence ensues. "Whhooooo's ready to fun something?!" I say once more, this time pushing the Real Pizza Disk box directly toward the child's quivering mouth. Take that, silent fellow! But the mouth does not open. Not an inch. Or a millimeter, I suppose. So I press the button that makes the vein burst out of my Biceps Experience. Normally kids love this, but not this one. He thinks he's special. Like Friday. Or Jane. Oh. Now I am really flummoxed. According to the Info Guide, the Primary must acknowledge the Blow Out Greeting before the Transaction can proceed to the Eating is Healthy and Good for Democracy phase. Otherwise, Legal gets involved and I have to conference with Winnipeg. Using body language, I try to infect the kid with the Feeling. Then I scream: "Whhhooooo's ready to fun something!!!" Nothing. The little shit. Still grinning, and apparently reading my mind, the mother slaps the kid on his shoulder with a fan belt. The kid winces as little points of blood begin to show through his faded hospital gown. "This kid," he finally mumbles, "wants to fun... something." Attaboy! In a fit of Adreno-Buzz, I suddenly can't decide which of the Four Retorts I should implement, but eventually I settle on "A Real Pizza Disk is Real Pizza Fun!" "A Real Pizza Disk is Real Pizza Fun!" I say. Then I switch on the Smellmaker and open the box. The kid looks down at it. The tears running down his cheeks fall into the Water Sauce and cause a chemical reaction of sorts. This leads to more tears. My heart clenches. I think about how you can't put a goatee on a heart. The the kid looks up at his mother, who is still grinning, and says: "I know what it means. It means I'm going to die-ie-ie-ie-ie!" When he finishes no one says anything for a while. His mother stares at my Jaw Booster. For some reason, I'm afraid of her. "A Real Pizza Disk is Real Pizza Fun!" I say.

When I get home Sam is sitting in my chair. As I approach, Sam notes the goatee residue on my chin and says: "Fuck you, Joe." I lodge a hiccup of protest. "Fuck you, Joe," he says again, looking me straight in the eye. So I go and sit in the chair by the door to the toilet, telling myself that I'll take care of Sam after I log some Rejuve Mins. Jane is there, in the next chair over, by the hot plate. "Fuck you, Joe," she says. She's upset with me because I didn't bring her a free Real Pizza Disk as I sometimes do. I perform a Thought Search, but the only result is: "Now that's a real nice Real Pizza Disk," which seems inappropriate. Meanwhile my Rejuve Mins seem to be going slower than usual, which I'm sort of happy about since I don't really want to deal with Sam. Sam my enemy on this battlefield we call the world. Flipping through the Relaxologue, I select "Justified Outrage" and get comfortable by placing my hands underneath my buttocks and jerking my head backward until it makes a cracking sound. Then I hear it again: "Fuck you, Joe," this time in the voice of an old woman. Goddammit! I look up: it's the ghost of the boy with the sock pox. Woh! He's dead? Already? But before I can say anything, he's off on this long harangue about how I represent everything that's wrong with our society, etc, etc. The other people in the chairs find this message heartening. For some reason, they've always hated me, and now they're only too happy to form a Revenge Coalition and tear the limbs from my body, which they do. Verily, there is joy in their body language.

So now I'm a ghost too, I guess, which isn't so bad really. I watch Jane while she showers and try to remember what it's like to be embodied and have a groin. I miss my Biceps Experience, and the Feeling I almost loved. But really, besides that, I'm thankful. So thanks. Thanks Proclub.

"There May Have Been an Accident"

Joe Loring and Tom Michaels had been friends for years. In high school, they promised to break up each others' marriages, if it ever got to that. One day Joe came home from work and saw that there was blood on the floor.

He followed the blood into Tom's room. There was a corpse in the bed and blood everywhere. "Tom?" He shouted nervously. There was no answer. He reached for the phone but stopped himself. "Fingerprints," he thought.

Joe ran over to the neighbors' house. "May I use your phone?" he asked, "there may have been an accident."

The police told Joe that he couldn't go home just yet, so Joe went to the bar. He saw people he knew there: Dave, Bob, Sandy. Joe ordered a beer and a shot of whiskey and waited for his thoughts to do something. But there was only one thing in his head, and it wouldn't go away: Tom killed somebody. He looked down the bar at a woman watching proclub. Tom killed somebody, he said to her in his mind.

The next day Joe went to work. His manager gave him a look when he came in the door. Joe did his best to appear to be observing some kind of protocol. There was a group of teenagers arguing at the counter. One of them wanted pepperoni. The other wanted cheese. You people have no idea, Joe thought. That night he slept at the Super 8. Because money was the last thing on his mind.

At four o'clock an order came in from a fake address. Joe knew it was Tom but pretended not to. When he got to the vacant lot, he even pretended to be lost. He even got out of the car, took off his ball cap, looked around, threw up his arms. Then a piece of gravel stuck the ground near his shoe. "Pizza man?" Tom shouted in a southern accent, "it's back here!"

Joe walked toward the trees at the far edge of the lot. "Hey man," Tom said, "guess you saw what happened." Joe nodded. "You talk to the police?" Joe nodded again. "Fine, fine. That's fine. You can even tell them that you saw me out here if you want. In fact, you should. Tell them that I said something about Mexico." Joe stood there a moment longer. Tom smelled like liquor.

When Joe got back to the restaurant he called the police and told them that he had seen Tom at the vacant lot, and that Tom had said something about Mexico. The police asked how Tom had seemed. "Drunk," Joe replied, "and high, possibly." The police had found methamphetamine in Tom's dresser.

The next day Joe called in sick. "Say no more," the manager said. Then Joe called Detective Sands and asked if it was OK to go home. "No, no, not just yet." Detective Sands sounded distracted. Joe figured he might as well move out. There was something depressing about the Super 8.

That night Tom was apprehended by a border guard on a bus to Toronto. A few days later the lab work came back. There had been methamphetamine in the girl's blood, too. Tom claimed temporary insanity and self defense. They gave him ten, but he got out in four.

This is a manifesto that can literally help you take over the world. I want to tell you the beginnings now of what I have planned in August and you need to start making plans today to attend. In 1780 George Washington developed a badge of merit. It is what our Purple Heart is modeled after. He only awarded, for the records that we have found, he only awarded three of these damages of merit. At the time the world only gave medals and badges and everything else to officers, but he was looking to create in his words an honorable and Christian army. He was looking to build people of integrity, people who understood merit and honor. He said the road to glory in a free country is open to all. It was the first time that anybody had ever done that, looking at the farmer and saying you don't have to be an officer and do something honorable. It was not about the Purple Heart, surprisingly. The Purple Heart was modeled after the badge of merit after they were found in 1933. And that's when we started awarding purple hearts. But it was not for honor. It was just for being wounded. That's not what the badge of merit was under George Washington. He used to keep the names in a book called the book of merit. He talked about it in his writings in 1782. The book has never been found. But the badges have been. We're going to restore honor by restoring the road to glory that in a free country is open to all. We are going to begin awarding badges of merit.

We're designing them now and they are — I haven't decided if we're going to make them into actual medals that you would pin on a chest or wear like the medal of honor or if it's just a badge, exactly the way George Washington intended. That's how I'm leaning at this point. But we are collecting some people that you will not believe and I want to introduce them to you and I want you to see the people that are living life today that deserve a badge of merit that are living their life in accordance with just universal principles, principles and values. So that is going to be the overview of what we're doing there and it will be a chance for your children, if we want to restore the country, if we want to restore honor, then we have to restore faith and principles and find a new George Washington. Maybe it is your child.

I had never heard of Rose Byrne, her Moon Halo however immediately entranced me. I had also never heard of The Rage In Placid Lake but a lovely Australian lady recommended this film from her country. The very first shot already 'had me' as we see a playground, its walls decorated with Blue Birds flying over a rainbow as well as Yellow Flowers. The Blue Birds that fly over the rainbow - "somewhere over the Rainbow, blue birds fly" Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz - were discussed heavily in The SpiriT of The Blue Bird. Rainbow happens when light refracts at a 42 degree angle. The 42 is associated to the alchemical symbol for Jupiter, which is also the alchemical sign of Tin. These matters are addressed in detail in Jumpiter but it is enough to know that rainbows, which Blue Birds enjoy flying over, resonate 42/Jupiter and Tin. Let's not forget the obvious connects here: Australia often called OZ, the Australian film Rage In Placid Lake, the Australian actress Rose Byrne and the images of the Blue Bird/Rainbow all resonating the film The Wizard of Oz. Why is OZ of such syncnificance? Well OZ, resonates PAN/77 (in Kabala) and can even be found in POP culture between the WTC Buildings on the Spherical Caryatid Sculpture in the film "The Wiz" with Michael Jackson as the Scarecrow.

A sculpture stood between the Towers, inside of a fountain, until it was damaged by the WTC collapse. We see Rose Byrnes character Gemma, meeting Placid Lake for the first time, at this same sync rich playground in The Rage In Placid Lake, while backed by the Yellow Flower. The Yellow Flower was much discussed in a recent Blob post as an element found strange attracted to Kirsten Dunst. The general feel is that the yellow flower represents star/sun/enlightenment or Christ Consciousness. One sync that made Rose Byrne jump out of obscurity and instant interest for investigation was that she shares screen time with Kiki in "Marie Antoinette". There is a inexplicable symmetry in this shift from solar Kirsten Dunst to Lunar Rosa Byrne. The solar Queen lending her light to mirror Moon. The sun and Rose Byrne can not be separated, as we shall soon see, to the point where I can honestly not tell which is her primary sphere. Perhaps Rose is a combination. I had recently seen Rose Byrne in "Knowing" with Nicholas Cage and in "Adam" about her romance with an AWEtistic man. This picture of Cage was recently posted at The Sync Whole in an ongoing chapter oabout The 2010 Matrix Code. Fascinating, as another shot in Rose Byrnes bedroom in The Rage in Placid Lake, instead of a moon crown sees a butterfly/moth. It gives us the feeling of the consciousness taking flight on delicate and gorgeous wings. That both stars in a film about prophecy share this strange sync unrelated to Knowing gives me pause. Another thing worth pointing out considering the two butterfly/moth pics above is the work William Morgan has done on Knowing where he sees direct correspondences between it and the "Mothman Prophecies". In Knowing Rose plays Diana who first meets Cage at a Crab museum exhibit. As Crab/Cancer is ruled by the Moon and Diana is a Roman Moon Goddess the sync meter went Looney. At this notice I become convinced Byrne is a Synchromystic Moon Star or a sync 'resonatres' of Luna. After more speculation, some soon to be divulged, I am less certain as this appears to be only half of Rose's story.

Knowing revolves around Nicholas Cage discovering a code prophetically predicting key disaster dates and the amount of people who die during these events. The first signal he decodes is the 911 Mega Ritual or WTC Disaster. This is just too perfect as synchronicities revolving around 911 helped wake me up to the living union of I AM and gave synchromysticism the kick it needed to flower. Synchronicities like the OZ Sphere between the Manhattan Twin Pillarmids (Pyramids/Towers/Pillars) at the end of the yellow brick road in The Wiz and the "2001: Space Odyssey" Monolith fashioned Millenium Hilton at Ground Zero. The building was intentionally designed to look like Kubrick and Clarke's black cuboid stone from the film 2001. It was close enough to the Twin Towers as to be damaged during 911. This seems to be the sync WE/ME have addressed that has captured the most peoples imagination. Understandably so, I guess. An object that oversees humanities key historic shift in a fictional film (considered a corner stone of cinema) and real life event that marked a change in history, both centered on 2001. It's pretty hard to ignore. In my mind these and other 911 synchronicitiess dwarfed the possibility of conscious human orchestration leading to the letting go of paranoia and conspiracy as key dynamic that governs world affairs. The new ruler of the Earth had to be something bigger than any human or material agency and had to involve my own consciousness directly. My attraction to spiritual matters moved into the affair and a new understanding of the 'non-local Self orchestrating organism of Being' awakened in ME/WE. The white circle of the moon backs Cher and Manhattan Island engulfing the WTC, connecting the Buildings to Luna. Shares ("She who gives") 'ruby slippers' above the WTC and the letters ON, or if we tilt the N, OZ. Another connection to OZ just like The Wiz "Sphere" Sculpture OZ. The architect of the WTC, Minoru Yamasaki, intended the Sphere to represent the Black Cuboid Kaaba at Mecca and it rotated once every 24 hours (42 Horus). Pretty awesome as this yet again - as we have already seen in the 2001 Monolith and Millenium Hilton design - brings this kind of shape into the sync web of 911.

The connection repeats during the opening titles of Moonstruck and we see Star Nicholas Cage is also present. Considering we have already seen Nicholas Cage interact with 911 in Knowing things start heating up. At this point it seems Cage is the most singular 911 resonating Star known as illustrated by the montage above. He appears as a firefighter who gets trapped under the collapsed Twin Towers in Oliver Stone's "World Trade Center." He finds a code which predicts future disasters when noticing 911 in Knowing. His name appears over Manhattan Buildings and the WTC in Moonstruck. He stars in Werner Herzog's "Bad Lieutenant" which opened on 9/11 this year. If we consider the 2001 film and Hilton connect as a primary anchor for these syncs then perhaps further investigation into that film's mythos and its sequel 2010 can provide a framework upon which to hang for the myriad of syncs we could get lost in.
